The AIM Directory can become a controlled business network for organisations that choose to connect their installations.
A limited company directory
The shared directory can publish a display name, WordPress role label, company or site name and whether a person is the organisation’s administrator or company contact. WordPress account email addresses are not intended to be exposed as public directory fields.
Start with a pre-talk
A collaboration request can begin with a subject and a few lines explaining the opportunity. AIM can create a private network thread with the other company contact before the relationship becomes a formal project.
Partnership pipeline
Prospect → Pre-talk → Exploring → Active → Paused. The pipeline is deliberately simple: it is intended to show the state of a working relationship, not replace a full CRM.
Slack and Microsoft Teams can stay in the loop
If an administrator configures an approved webhook, a sender can choose to mirror a partnership pre-talk into the organisation’s own Slack or Microsoft Teams channel. AIM remains the company-to-company delivery route.
