AI-assisted production can make drafting faster, but speed is not the same as authority. A draft still needs an accountable route to the person who can decide whether it is correct, on-brand and ready to be used.
Make the status explicit
AIM uses a simple progression: Drafted, In review, Manager notes, Rework, Approved and Delivered privately. The value of this sequence is not the labels themselves. The value is that each person can see what kind of action is expected next.
Assignment comes before review
A draft should have an owner. This can be the person who created it or another WordPress user. Once responsibility is visible, the organisation can distinguish between work that exists and work that somebody is actually expected to move forward.
Notes should travel with the work
When feedback is scattered across chat, email and documents, the reviewer often has to reconstruct the context. Thread references and manager notes keep the discussion closer to the output.
Approval is a business decision
The system can help structure the workflow, but the organisation still decides what approval means. A short blog article may need one editor. A regulated product page may require legal or compliance review. The operating model should reflect the actual risk of the work.
