WordPress is excellent at publishing and site administration, but the default dashboard is not designed to be the daily operating home for a marketing team. That does not mean it needs to be replaced.
Change the starting point, not the platform
AIM Engine uses the main dashboard as its workspace. Users see chat, collaboration, campaigns, projects, scheduling, plugins and prototypes first. The standard WordPress dashboard remains accessible through a dedicated switch.
Keep native tools where they are strongest
Pages and posts still belong in the WordPress editor. Plugin installation still belongs in WordPress. Updates, media and site settings remain native administration functions. AIM adds an operating hierarchy above those functions.
Reduce context switching
A marketer who needs to draft an article, assign it to a colleague and discuss a campaign should not have to treat each action as an unrelated system. Bringing the starting points together can reduce the amount of navigation needed to understand what is happening on the website.
Preserve an escape hatch
Any enhanced dashboard should provide a clear route back to normal WordPress. That is why AIM includes a Simple WordPress Dashboard button rather than attempting to hide the underlying platform.
